Responsible Mining
Founded in 2004, Rapu-Rapu Minerals, Inc. (RRMI) is committed to responsible mining and sustainable development in the Philippines. The company successfully operated the Rapu-Rapu Polymetallic Project from 2005 to 2013, producing copper and zinc while maintaining high standards of safety and environmental management. Following mine closure, RRMI completed a comprehensive environmental rehabilitation program, which was officially approved by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau in 2025, making it the first mine rehabilitation project in the Philippines to receive such recognition. In recognition of this achievement, RRMI was also awarded the Special Citation for Excellence in Mine Rehabilitation by the DENR Secretary on March 4, 2026. Today, RRMI continues to promote environmental stewardship, community partnership, and sustainable value creation for future generations.

Social Responsibility
RRMI implemented the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) as required under the Mining Act of 1995 to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and the attainment of equality, justice, ad social and economic development for all stakeholders.
From 2005 until 2025, the company disbursed a total of PhP 225, 902,906 for the implementation of the SDMP. The main programs implemented include building construction, provision of water system, electrification, education and training, health and sanitation, development of mining technology and geosciences, scholarship programs, Information, Education and Communication.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) beyond regulatory compliance was also initiated by the company such as the construction of college building and chapels, feeding programs, support to education and reforestation.
